We meet each Sunday from 10.30 to 11.30 a.m. and from 6.00 to 6.40 p.m. at our Meeting House in Bath Place. All are welcome and after the morning meeting (and a few minutes for Afterword and notices) there is tea and coffee and an opportunity to talk with others. (Any changes of date or time are shown in the Events Section.)
On Wednesday lunchtimes between 12.30 and 1.30 we have Drop into Silence where you can spend some time in silence in the middle of the working day and also enjoy conversation and a hot drink (and bring your own lunch).
During the week our warden is generally available in the Meeting House from 9.00 to 1.00.
The Meeting House is used regularly by other groups including Taunton Welcomes Refugees, National Childbirth Trust, Amnesty International and Somerset Council., who value the quiet space in the middle of town.
Everyone is welcome to our Meetings for Worship _ Just turn up - no need to give notice. It is free on Sundays (but in the week is short-stay for 3 hours only). During the week there is a Park and Ride service from both Silk Mills and Gateway (near the M5 Junction 25)
The bus service is very limited on Sundays but buses from Wellington and Bridgwater arrive in time for morning Meeting. They stop in Castle Way, less than 5 minutes walk away.
The railway station is about 20 -25 minutes walk away – there are buses in the week but none early on Sunday morning. Taxis are available.
